Hola Smart Traveler! See you again with Em! At Sekutu Kelana: Smart Traveling Sharing. In this video, I want to review the halal bento in Tokyo convenience stores. I bought this bento in January 2020. At 7 Eleven Asakusa Kaminarimon, to be precise. It is located, not far from the entrance gate of Sensoji Temple, where there are giant lanterns, you know. There are 3 types of bento sold here. The first, Vegetable Penne or vegetable paste. The second menu is Butter Chicken Curry or butter chicken curry.
And the last menu is Gyudon aka beef bowl or beef rice. These three products, God willing, are guaranteed halal, because there is a halal logo from the Japan Islamic Trust. The price is 689 Yen, including tax. Okay, now we take a look at the bentos one by one. This one is the Vegetable Penne. The ingredients consist of pickled tomatoes, a mixture of vegetables such as zucchini, red bell peppers, yellow peppers, and eggplant. There are also macaroni, onions, vegetable oil, tomato paste, salt, garlic, and others. The second menu of Butter Chicken Curry consists of rice, chicken, sauteed onions, tomato paste, butter, honey, cashews, carrots, ginger, garlic, and others. Well, the last one is Gyudon. This menu consists of rice, beef, onions, soy sauce, sugar, vegetable oil, and others. Of the three bento, I finally chose to buy Gyudon. Here is the appearance of the Gyudon bento which has been heated for about 6 minutes.
The packaging is just like Yoshinoya's beef bowl, the rice and meat are separated. To make it more delicious, I pour the beef into the white rice. Then, stir it up. Hmmm yum. The portion of rice and meat is quite a lot. The beef is tender, but according to my taste, the seasoning is a little too tasty. Luckily there is BonCabe who is the savior. After mixing the magic spices, the taste of the Gyudon bento is even more appetizing. Hmmm, it's a bit pricey, huh, the price. If it is converted into rupiah, it will be around IDR 90 thousand. But the heart is calm because it is clear that it is halal. So for those of you who are or are going to Tokyo, please try this halal bento.
Later tell me the testimony. I am curious about the other two menus. Okay, here's the video first. If you have comments or suggestions, please write in the comments column. Don't forget to subscribe to Sekutu Kelana. Also follow Instagram and Twitter @sekutukelana..
